Membership to River City Field Trips is FREE, and open to all homeschoolers in Kentucky and Indiana.

Once you register below, an email will be sent to our membership coordinator, Mary Conver. She will review your application. You will NOT be able to login until  she has reviewed, approved, and activated your user account.  If you have questions, you can email Mary at enrollment@rcft.org

TERMS & CONDITIONS

I understand that River City Field Trips, henceforth known as “RCFT,” a dba of the 501c3 nonprofit, Kentuckiana Homeschool, Inc., henceforth known as “KHS,” is a business, and that by joining RCFT and/or KHS, I am entering into a contract with the aforementioned business.

I understand the Refund policy stated on the River City Field Trips webpage at https://rcft.org/payments-refunds-waivers/. No refunds will be given after the payment deadline has passed. If the payment deadline has passed, and I can contact RCFT to try and sell my tickets to someone else, but I must notify RCFT at least 3 days prior to the event. I will only get a credit or refund if another family purchases my tickets.  If the RCFT Board cancels an event or field trip, a full refund will be issued minus any convenience fees. If a venue cancels a field trip, I will adhere to the policy of the venue or forfeit any monies paid.

I agree to waive all liability against RCFT, KHS, and/or its representatives for damaged, lost, or stolen items. I also agree to not hold RCFT, KHS as a whole or its representatives responsible for injuries caused by lack of parental supervision, facility default, or negligence.  Any actions causing negligence, damages, or injury to another person or facility is the responsibility of the guardian and/or parent.  RCFT/KHS as a whole as well as its representatives are not to be held liable.  I also understand that as an open homeschool group, RCFT/KHS do not require background checks on people in attendance, other groups, individuals that may be present, or staff at the field trip facility or site.  RCFT, KHS, and its representatives will not be held responsible for any actions or lack of actions that would result in a civil or judicial lawsuit.

I understand there may be photos taken by other parties and sent to RCFT/KHS.  These photos may be used at RCFT and/or KHS’s discretion for display on the internet, posters, advertisements, or any other publication.

I agree that I will not contact a venue, as my contract is with RCFT/KHS.  If I contact a venue for a refund, credit, to reschedule, or for any reason outside of general information (eg. directions, etc) and/or if I present myself as a representative of RCFT and/or KHS I will forfeit the ability to sign up for field trips in the future.

I understand that the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. RCFT/LHS has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, RCFT/KHS cannot guarantee that you or your child(ren) will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, attending RCFT/KHS events, sports, functions, cottage program, field trips, co-op, etc. could increase your risk and your child(ren)’s risk of contracting COVID-19.

I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that my child(ren) and I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending RCFT and/or KHS events and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at RCFT and/or KHS may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, KHS employees, volunteers, and program participants and their families.I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to my child(ren) or myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I or my child(ren) may experience or incur in connection with my child(ren)’s attendance at RCFT and/or KHS or participation in RCFT and/or KHS programming (“Claims”). On my behalf, and on behalf of my children, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless RCFT and/or KHS, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of KHS, RCFT, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any RCFT and/or KHS program.

RCFT/KHS reserves the right to revoke and/or refuse membership for anyone who does not follow the TOS and/or policies. RCFT/KHS reserves the right to make changes to this agreement at any time, and will provide notification to all members through the email they provided when registering.
